For the camper on a budget, the Magnum MM series inverters provide a low
cost, high quality, alternating current (AC) power source for less
demanding mobile loads. The modified sine wave output works well for
many smaller loads, though the residual harmonics may cause overheating
and damage to inductive loads and more finicky loads like Lithium Ion
battery chargers. The MM612 provides 600 Watts continuous output at 120
Volts Alternating Current (VAC) from a 12 Volts Direct Current (VDC)
battery bank. This is enough to power your television, radio, and
smaller accessories for your boat or RV. The MM612 has a 7 amp AC
transfer relay to power loads from an external AC source, when the
batteries are low, and Neutral to Ground switching for Mobile
applications. MM Series inverters are ETL Listed to the requirements of
UL/cUL 458 and CSA C22.2 #107.1-01 for mobile use.
